Dan Glockle — Dan Glockle accepted the pastorate of Berean Baptist Church on July 28, 2013. He has previously served other churches in FL and NC. He holds a M.Div. (PTS, Pensacola) and Th.M. (SBTS, Louisville) and desires to lovingly engage people in his life through thoughtful conversations about Jesus and the world. Dan believes that the best way for the city of Eugene to flourish is for citizens of a New City, the City of God, to live their lives in a way that reflects the builder and architect of that city, Jesus Christ. He and his wife Tracy have three children, Charles, Eleanor, and George.
Dick Valnes — Dick was the first-born of six children, growing up in a small farming community. He was in the military for eight years during the Korean War. It was in the military that Dick became a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. He is a realtor for Century 21 and serves in four nursing homes as a chaplain. Dick and his wife Caroline have enjoyed hiking, golfing, and traveling.
George Cox — George was born and raised in Eugene. At fifteen years of age, George put his trust in the completed work of Jesus Christ for salvation. After serving in public education for forty-three years, he retired a beloved and well-respected physical education teacher. George and his wife Vivien have raised four children and have eleven grandchildren. He enjoys yard work, biking, ping-pong, pickle ball, and traveling with Vivien.
Josh Dillow — Josh was born in Virginia, lived in the Ivory Coast for two years, but spent the majority of his childhood in Texas. Along with his five brothers, he grew up in a Christian home and accepted Jesus Christ as his savior at a very young age. Josh holds degrees from George Fox University in Accounting, Music, and Teaching and has recently enrolled at Western Seminary to prepare for ministry. He is currently a music teacher at Meadow View School in West Eugene and serves Berean as the Worship Leader. Josh and his wife Lisa have three boys, Seth, Jacob, and Luke, and a sweet little girl, Abbie.
