Senior Pastor, Mike Jaskilka, has been at Berean Baptist Church since 1994. Previously, he’d been pastor of churches in Scio, Tigard, and Portland, Oregon before coming to Eugene. He has a Th. M. degree from Western Baptist Seminary in Portland and a D. Min. from Gordon-Conwell Seminary in Massachusetts. After graduation from college, Mike served as a Marine Lieutenant in Viet Nam. Shortly after his return from Vietnam in 1970, he trusted Christ as his savior. He enjoys hunting, fishing and many sports. He and his wife Jan have been married since 1971 and have four children.
